The Route from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat
As an experienced transport professional who has personally driven thousands of trips taking passengers from Ho Chi Minh City up to the city of flowers, I completely understand that what customers fear most is the exhausting 8-9 hour traffic jams. But right now, the route has completely changed! To minimize travel time and provide the smoothest ride for passengers, our entire fleet is utilizing the following “golden” route:
- Driving entirely on the new expressways: The car will pick you up at your hotel or Tan Son Nhat Airport, then head straight onto the Long Thanh – Dau Giay expressway and seamlessly connect to the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet expressway. Taking full advantage of this route helps completely avoid the haunting traffic bottlenecks on the old National Highway 20, cutting the distance and travel time in half compared to before.
- Conquering Dai Ninh Pass: After exiting the expressway, instead of taking the traditional Bao Loc pass crowded with heavy trucks, our fleet will take you through Dai Ninh pass. Great news for travelers is that this mountain pass has been newly repaired and beautifully repaved. The road is empty and smooth, allowing the vehicle to travel very fast and safely. Switching the route to the new Dai Ninh pass is the “key” that significantly shortens the journey, bringing you straight to the center of Da Lat in just about 6 hours in the most relaxing way.
